Showing up prepared — knowing the story of the Hùng Kings, speaking some Vietnamese, being visibly respectful — earns goodwill that almost nothing else in the province can match. Outside this period, the district is dominated by the Supe Lâm Thao fertilizer plant and is simply an industrial zone.
