Long Khánh earned its reputation as Vietnam's durian capital legitimately — the fruit markets here move enormous volume during harvest season and the surrounding area is planted with some of the country's most prized Ri6 and Musang King varieties. As a city it has real infrastructure: markets, restaurants, banks, a proper town center. That said, foreign men with a social agenda will find limited traction here compared to larger cities.
