Đơn Dương is called the vegetable basket of Lâm Đồng — the valley around Thạnh Mỹ town is covered in plastic greenhouse tunnels producing lettuce, strawberries, and cut flowers for the rest of Vietnam. It's productive and commercially active but entirely agricultural in its social structure. No tourism, no foreigner presence, no nightlife. Close to Đà Lạt geographically but a completely different social reality.
