The commune has a real tourism infrastructure layer: several guesthouses, restaurants on the Danube bank, and a steady stream of summer visitors. In July and August there's a thin social energy at the waterfront spots, and a foreign man in that context is a normal visitor, not an oddity. But it's still a small commune of a few thousand, and outside summer there's nothing.
