Sztum has a well-preserved Teutonic castle ruin on a small lake that's genuinely photogenic and rarely crowded — the kind of place where showing up with genuine historical interest makes you interesting to locals who never meet people visiting for that reason. The surrounding Iława Lake District (technically straddling into Warmia-Masuria) gives the county access to one of Poland's larger lake systems. Niche, but if that's your context, it works.

Works as an afternoon detour from Malbork, not as an overnight.
