Luvianos
8.4
High score (8-10) · Your profile
Luvianos is a very remote municipality in the southwestern corner of Estado de México, near the Guerrero border, split off from Tejupilco municipality fairly recently. The terrain is mountainous and the economy is subsistence agriculture and small-scale ranching. There is no social infrastructure for outsiders and the security environment given proximity to Guerrero warrants caution.
Mid score (6-8)
Luvianos has a genuinely rugged landscape and the isolation that comes with it. It's a functioning small community but extremely limited in services and economic development. The roads are challenging.
Lower score (below 6)
Luvianos is genuinely isolated — difficult roads, poverty-level economy, security concerns near the Guerrero border, and no social infrastructure of any kind for a foreign man. Stay away unless you have a specific community development or security reason to be here.
