Jungnang has decent transit connections and some of the more affordable apartment options in Seoul for a district still within the city ring, which makes it viable as a base. Mangu and Sangbong station areas have local eating and bar options for after-work. But the social life for a foreign man here is essentially what he creates himself rather than anything the district provides.
