But the evenings are quiet and the residential character of most of the district is entirely family-oriented. Worth knowing if you're in the airport-adjacent business world; not a social destination.

Western Seoul near Gimpo Airport with a mixed industrial and residential character that has been disrupted by the Magok development zone but hasn't become socially interesting because of it. The LG Science Park workers are there 9-to-5 and then leave. Transit connections are solid via the AREX and subway. A foreign man based here is commuting to every social interaction.

Proximity to Gimpo is essentially the only reason to be in Gangseo, and even that's transit logic, not a social reason to stay. Apartment blocks, light industrial, and a local neighborhood culture with no expat infrastructure whatsoever. The social world here is entirely long-term local residents who have no particular interest in outsiders. Nothing in the district rewards a foreign man's presence.
