Seo-gu's Cheongna International City section is one of Incheon's better-kept secrets — a planned lakeside development built for young Korean professionals who wanted modern infrastructure at a fraction of Songdo prices, and the lake park and retail strips actually work. The Cheongna crowd skews younger and more globally-exposed than typical Incheon residents, and being near the airport means international traffic touches this area consistently. It hasn't hit the critical mass of Songdo yet but the social environment is meaningfully better than most of Incheon's older districts. A reasonable play if Songdo feels too corporate.
