The area around Sincheon-dong has developed enough around the station to function as a secondary commercial zone. For a foreign man, the transit-hub proximity means easier access to the whole city and more through-traffic in your immediate environment than most other districts. Dong-gu also has the legacy of Camp Henry nearby, which left a small tail of English-friendly businesses and more cross-cultural familiarity than Daegu's average.
