Expats working in Mombasa's NGO, shipping, and hospitality sectors cluster here, and the beach access at Nyali and Bamburi is genuinely good — calm water inside the reef, white sand, and beach bars that actually have cold beer. A foreign man with resources and a presentable profile will find this the most productive environment in Mombasa by a wide margin.
