In summer the beach draws large mixed crowds including Tokyoites looking for a closer alternative to Shonan. If you're working the summer beach circuit and want something less crowded than Fujisawa, Miura delivers.

Even in summer the beach crowd is mostly domestic families and friend groups rather than a singles-oriented social scene.
