Ōmu

Lower score (below 6)
Ōmu is a small fishing city on the northern Okhotsk coast with around 4,500 people. The economy is fishing — primarily scallops, crab, and salmon. The town is isolated enough that it has its own small airport (Omu Airport) with occasional connections to Sapporo. No social infrastructure and no particular draw for an outsider. Standard remote northern Hokkaido fishing community.
