Kendira
8.2
High score (8-10) · Your profile
Kendira has a small beach on the Corniche Kabyle that sees Algerian domestic tourists in summer, giving it a coastal resort character during July and August. The beach is less developed and less crowded than Tichy, which makes for a more relaxed atmosphere if that's what you want. You can sit at a beach café in summer and have more interaction than you'd get in any interior commune. The coastal road connects it easily to Bejaia.
Mid score (6-8)
Kendira has a functional small beach and some summer activity. In peak season there's enough foot traffic for basic social contact. Outside summer the beach is empty and there's nothing here. The same conservative social dynamics apply as everywhere in the region — summer beach activity in Algeria doesn't translate to the social openness of Mediterranean beach culture.
Lower score (below 6)
Kendira outside summer has essentially nothing — no accommodation, no services, no foot traffic. Even in summer the social ceiling is very low by any international standard. A beach stop at best.
