Boukhlifa
8.2
High score (8-10) · Your profile
Boukhlifa is a small coastal commune on the Corniche Kabyle between Bejaia and Tichy that has some of the most accessible beach entry points on this stretch of coast. In summer Algerian families use the small beaches here and there's at least some human activity. The coastal road means you're driving through anyway. A short beach stop is the realistic upside.
Mid score (6-8)
Boukhlifa has coastal geography and summer beach activity from Algerian domestic tourists. There's minimal formal infrastructure but the coastline is functional. Social dynamics are conservative — this is Algerian beach culture, not Mediterranean. Outside of summer there's very little activity.
Lower score (below 6)
Boukhlifa outside summer is nearly empty with no accommodation, no social scene, and nothing for a foreign man. Even in summer the conservative Algerian beach culture limits interaction significantly. The coast is nice to drive past.
