If you're traveling the E45 corridor between Vejle and Aarhus, Horsens is the best overnight stop.

Outside of event weekends Horsens reverts to a normal Danish regional city where social life is settled and private. Cold approach doesn't land here any better than elsewhere in Denmark. The harbor redevelopment has made it prettier but hasn't fundamentally changed who lives here and how they socialize. Thin dating pool and the usual Danish emotional walls.
