Ostholstein is the Baltic coast district with Travemünde, Timmendorfer Strand, and Fehmarn island — all of which get meaningful summer tourist traffic from Hamburg and beyond. Timmendorfer Strand in particular runs a beach resort social scene with restaurants, beach clubs, and hotels that draws a wealthier Hamburg demographic in July and August. A foreign man with a good presence does well in this environment specifically because it's a holiday mentality — people are relaxed, temporarily unmoored from their usual social circles, and open to meeting someone new.

Worth targeting specifically in peak season, but don't expect year-round social infrastructure.
