Praha 11's Chodov section has Metro C access at Háje terminus and OC Chodov — one of Prague's larger shopping centers — plus some newer residential development that has brought younger buyers into the district. The transit connection to Vyšehrad and the center runs under 15 minutes. Extremely affordable by Prague standards, which frees up money for social activity elsewhere in the city.

Chodov and Háje are workable as budget bases but offer nothing socially at the local level. Czech women who grew up here and stayed are primarily in family-formation mode.
