Segundo Frente is named for the guerrilla front Raúl Castro opened in the Sierra Maestra during the revolution and the municipality has remained remote and rural ever since. The mountainous terrain, difficult roads, and scattered population make any kind of social life nearly impossible for a foreign visitor to access. There's a small local museum to the revolutionary campaign but that's the full extent of the draw. Nothing here for a foreign man.
